From booking to launch

Our standardized sprint process delivers professional websites in a 3 weeks (Homepage + Brand Extension Package) or 4-5 weeks (Growth-Ready Website Package). Here’s exactly what happens and when.
1

Book your intro call

Schedule a 30-minute call with our team to discuss your project, goals, and timeline. We’ll determine if Oratory is the right fit and which package makes sense for your needs.
No sales pitch—just a direct conversation about your project and whether we’re a good match.
2

Choose your package

Select either the Homepage + Brand Extension Package (10,000,1015days)orGrowthReadyWebsitePackage(10,000, 10-15 days) or **Growth-Ready Website Package** (20,000, 20-25 days). All pricing is transparent and upfront. No hidden fees, no scope creep.
Not sure which package is right for you? We’ll discuss this during the intro call and recommend the best fit.
3

Secure your spot

Payment secures your spot in our booking pipeline.Homepage + Brand Extension Package: Full payment upfront ($10,000)Growth-Ready Website Package:
  • Standard: Full payment upfront ($20,000)
  • Split payment: 50% now, 50% at delivery with 20% fee ($24,000 total)
We typically book 2-4 weeks in advance. Popular times (like before fundraising or product launches) book up quickly.

Week 1: Design Direction

1

Kickoff workshop

Align on goals, target audience, key messaging, and success metrics. This is our opportunity to deeply understand your product, market, and positioning.
Topics covered: audience definition, competitive landscape, brand positioning, technical requirements, and design preferences.
2

Visual concept boards

We present three distinct stylistic directions for your website.Concept boards delivered by end of week (ideally Thursday or earlier). Each concept represents a different visual approach—you’ll see typography, color palettes, imagery styles, and layout patterns.
These initial concept boards are used for us to align on general look and feel—nothing here is sacred at this point. We’ll continue to iterate from here as we move forward into the homepage design.
3

Review & feedback cycle

You review the three concept options and provide feedback. This is typically very low lift—usually 1-2 hours of your time.Together we’ll refine the chosen direction and align on next steps.
Feedback consolidation happens in one place with one main point person to streamline the process.

Week 2: Homepage Design

1

Figma mockups of homepage

We apply the selected visual direction to create a high-fidelity homepage mockup in Figma. The design at this stage includes all homepage sections, custom imagery, typography, and layout.
2

Async client review via Loom

You’ll receive a Loom video walkthrough explaining the design decisions and approach. For everything to continue moving smoothly here, we’ll need you to review within a day or two after we send the homepage design.
Loom videos let you see the design with context, then provide feedback asynchronously. If we need to get on a call after your team has reviewed the Loom, we are generally pretty flexible.
3

Revisions

We incorporate your feedback and refine the homepage design.Changes are consolidated through your main point person to keep the process efficient.
Revisions are built into this phase. Changes must be within the defined scope.

Week 3: Development

1

Build homepage in Framer/Webflow

Development begins in your chosen platform (Framer or Webflow). We build the homepage exactly as designed, ensuring functionality and responsiveness.
We’ll discuss Framer vs Webflow during kickoff and recommend the best fit for your needs. If you’d prefer to develop it in-house, you are welcome to take the design from here.
2

Client preview

You’ll preview the live homepage in the development platform.Test functionality, review on different devices, and provide any final adjustments.
3

Homepage launch

Homepage goes live once approved. For Homepage + Brand Extension Package, project is complete at this point. For Growth-Ready Website Package, we continue to Week 4 for additional pages.
4

Additional page design (Growth-Ready Website Package only)

While homepage development is happening, we simultaneously design the additional pages (Blog, Contact, Pricing, About, Product template). This parallel work keeps the timeline efficient.

Week 4: Finalization (Growth-Ready Website Package only)

1

Build additional pages

We build the remaining pages in Framer/Webflow using the established design styling.Pages include: Blog (list + posts), Contact, Pricing, About, and Product template.
2

CMS setup

Content management system is configured for self-management.CMS templates are set up so you can add blog posts, update content, and create new pages independently.
3

Client QA

You review all pages, test functionality, and provide any final adjustments. This is your opportunity to catch any issues before final handoff.
4

Site handoff/transfer

Site ownership is transferred to you. You’ll receive all access credentials, Figma files, and assets.
5

Site walkthrough

Final walkthrough either on a call or via Loom video. We’ll show you how to:
  • Use the CMS to update content
  • Add blog posts
  • Create new pages using our templates
  • Make minor adjustments
Most clients find they can handle 90% of updates themselves after this training.
6

Project complete

Site is live, you’re trained, and ready to manage independently. No ongoing retainer required. You own and manage the site completely.

Platform selection: Framer vs Webflow

We’ll recommend the best platform during kickoff based on your needs.

Framer (Preferred)

Why we recommend Framer:
  • Better animations and micro-interactions
  • Figma-like editing experience
  • Direct partnership with Framer team through Framer Switch program
  • First year of Scale plan included ($1,200 annual value)
  • More modern, cutting-edge feel
  • Better for advanced interactions
Best for: Companies wanting advanced animations, modern interactive experiences, and don’t need extremely complex CMS. Framer Switch Program Partnership We partner directly with Framer through their Switch program. As part of this partnership:
  • First year covered - We cover your first year of Framer Scale plan ($1,200 annual value) as part of the project
  • Direct partnership benefits - Better support, early access to features, and streamlined onboarding

Webflow (Alternative)

Why we offer Webflow:
  • More established, proven platform
  • Stronger CMS for complex content
  • Larger community and resources
  • More integrations available
Best for: Companies needing robust content management, maximum platform stability, or complex CMS requirements. Ongoing cost: ~$39-100/month depending on plan

What you need to provide

Before kickoff:

  • Clear understanding of your target audience
  • Key messaging and value propositions
  • Product screenshots or access to understand what we’re visualizing
  • Existing brand guidelines (if you have them)
  • Examples of websites you like (or don’t like)

During design:

  • One main point person for feedback consolidation
  • Timely feedback during review periods (typically 1-2 hours per review)
  • Access to product for screenshots and understanding

During development:

  • Final copy for all pages
  • Any specific content or assets needed
  • Approval for design direction before development starts
The smoother your feedback consolidation, the faster we can move. Designating one decision-maker prevents conflicting directions and delays. Review cycles are typically very low lift—1-2 hours of your time.
