Design Engineer
Full ownership of your projects, from kickoff to launch. We've cut out the overhead that makes most agency jobs miserable.
Oratory is a design studio for startups. We help founders build brands and websites that look as good as their ideas. As a Design Engineer, you bring it all to life — taking vision from concept to code.
Beyond client work, you'll help build internal tools and products. We work in focused sprints, and you'll own projects end-to-end.

About the Role
You design and you build. You care about interactions and polish, and you get annoyed when things don't feel right.
You don't need to be a hardcore engineer. If you can get the same results using AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or whatever the hottest flavor of AI is at the time — that's great. What matters is the output: beautiful, polished sites that work.
You'll build marketing sites for startups from the ground up. You'll own projects end-to-end — from design exploration to production code. You'll push what's possible when design and engineering are the same person.
